Free Critical Hit and Critical Fumble Generator (PF/ D&D 3.x)

I own Paizo's Crtical Hit and Critical Fumble decks as well as the iCrit and iFumble apps (for Android AND iPhone), however there were a couple of features I wanted to see in the apps that weren't available, so as a developer I created the tool that I wanted based on the OGL material...

Have Critical Failures that hurt you ever been an official rule.

I'm an old-timer and I'm going to go with no, though more than one DM I played with used the optional rules.

Pathfinder 1E Can you ready a five foot step?

Yes-assuming you didn't make any other movement already and aren't in difficult terrain. You can actually take the 5-foot step along with a different action that you've readied--but if the only thing you want is a 5-foot step, then that's fine too.

Sorry to post this here, but... is WotC down?

Saturday afternoon I was playing Magic Online. Later that night I was unable to connect. I checked the Magic Online boards and someone from Wizards posted that a "small subset" of Comcast customers were unable to reach some of the Wizards servers (for Magic Online, boards, etc.). The next...

Will WotC ever get it right?

In general while I might agree that the way levels are set for powers in 4E seems to be all over the place, I do have a thought as to why Hellish Firestorm is Sor 29 even though it seems to be technically inferior to Acid Typhoon (Sor 25) when compared side-by-side. Normally you can't take the...

    Gaping "Ready Action" hole

I humbly disagree with Mr. Finley's opinion of how the Ready action works. The way I understand the rule, is that a character that readies an action still has an End of Turn phase at the same initiative count that he/she takes the Ready. If the character takes that readied action later in the...
