    A planar book coming out?

There is also a book by Malhavoc Press called Beyond Countless Doorways: http://www.montecook.com/mpress_Doors.html

    What does your party have?

Let's see... Xagunder MacFaileas, Noble (from Green Ronin) 10/Necromancer 5/Mindbender 10, uses daggers. His cohort, Acrobat (Fantasy Flight Games) 20, uses a spiked chain. Odoquark, Druid/Rogue/Shifter/Warshaper uses different creatures' abilities, primarily elementals, flesh- and bone...

Aristocrat as a viable PC class.

Tell him to use the Noble's Handbook from Green Ronin Publishing's Master Class line. It will give him the sort of class he's probably looking for, with class abilities that will not only make him comparable to his fellows' characters, but make him useful to the party as well.

    Followers

I don't think giving double the number of followers is the answer. Instead, go with regular equivalent levels (so, 10 1st level fighters or 10 2nd level warriors).

    Are Slaad immune to Dictum???

I agree that the sonic immunity is only in regards to damage, as every other resistance and immunity is only for damage. Otherwise, they can't make Listen checks either, as they would be "immune" to the noises around them.

    Knowledge (local)

Question for you regarding, of course, the skill Knowledge (local). Do you require characters to specify which locality their skill covers, or does it cover ALL "legends, personalities, inhabitants, laws, customs, traditions, [and] humanoids" for wherever PC happen to go? If you do require a...

Cohorts - how do you handle them?

In the epic game I participate in, my character is currently traveling with one of his two cohorts (one from the Leadership feat, one from his Noble House feat [from Green Ronin Publishing's Noble's Handbook]). He also has plans to gain two more before eventually gaining epic leadership (with...

    Wishes & Skills

Hey, Hand. In our campaign, we have decided that wish cannot grant feats. However, if your character (I assume we're talking your epic druid/shifter, right?) were to take a racial level of human (from Monte Cook's site) he'd get the Adaptive Learning ability which would alow him to keep one...

A divine Campain and conflicts in class

Unless the connection is so powerful that every creature on the world is born with a level of cleric, what you might want to do is simply give every character a bonus exalted or vile feat that must come from the following list: Disciple of Darkness, Favored of the Champions, Knight of Stars...

What is the dumbest way you've seen a paladin lose his paladinhood?

Many years ago, I was in an adventure where the party found a trapdoor in some stable. It was locked, and as we had no thief in the party (ah, they were called thieves back then, weren't they...), the paladin decided to mount his warhorse and smash through the trapdoor with it's hooves. DM...

    Which Pantheon do you use?

The dualistic pantheon in my homebrew campign is not actually good vs. evil, but rather a Lawful death god vs. a Chaotic life goddess. For the epic game I'm in, we have all sorts of gods in all sorts of places.

    Epic Character's Collection

Wow. It's been a while since I was so taken aback by something I read on the grid. I had to check to see if I was still at the EN Boards, or if I'd somehow gotten onto the WotC site. Apparently I have offended you, Jhamin, so I appologize. I do, however, think you are mistaken in your view of...

    Epic Character's Collection

In the weekly epic level game I participate in, our characters are about to go world-hopping in search of a number of artifacts. In addition to the various D&D campaign worlds (the Realms, Dark Sun, etc.) our characters will be hitting a number of other fantasy and sci-fi worlds, alternate...

Bone Oozes, Flesh Jellies, and Undead

Thanks, I liked it. The fashion sense fits, even if he hasn't lost all his hair to that bloody sun-god's artifact. Oh, and as for whether a Mohrg engulfed by a Flesh Jelly lose it's tongue attack, it's meaty, so I'd say it's gone. Poor little mohrg.

Bone Oozes, Flesh Jellies, and Undead

I think a zombie deprived of its flesh becomes a pile of bones that could then be re-animated as a skeleton, rather than it just becoming a skeleton.
