Sorry.
I am sorry, folks. I just don't have it in me anymore. Between IRL stuff (mostly), lack of free time, and just a complete loss of interest in PBP in general, I have to call it. You are all free to do whatever you like with the thread. You have been great players and some have been...
My intention is to finish out this module. It would likely be at a slow pace. If someone did take over before that time in order to get a faster posting rate, that'd be fine, it'd just have a very different feel.
This post is to let you know I intend to phase myself out of the PBP scene. You've all noticed the slow update rate I'm sure. It comes from the fact that with everything going on IRL, I have a hard time mustering the interest and spending the scant free time available to me to post an update...
Rosalia sees movement near the top of the bramble wall where the shot came from and lobs an arrow at it. The arrow disappears into overgrowth unimpeded.
Grok ineffectually swipes at his attacker, but then Scrag comes in and lops the thing in half in an almost casual manner.
More movement atop...
Tuk's chain wraps around the zombie's neck and rips back off. The decayed flesh just sloughs off though. Instead of decapitation, the thing's fleshless neck allows its head bob around sickeningly.
OOC: Went ahead with Tuk's attack, doubt his and Roses attacks will interfere much. May be a...
Looking and sounding as grumpy as he is tired, Sozin loudly says "Why are we here? What does a giant worm have to do with Sir knight of the Ozone?" He begins setting up his bedroll, not really expecting an answer.
Nasty little spiked devices spring into existence amid the walking corpses. Though they feel no pain, the clumsy creatures have greater mechanical difficulty moving with oddly shaped metal bits stuck in their feet. Every time they try to move, the caltrops twist and pry out chunks of flesh and...
You are effectively in a 10 ft wide passage with the zombies blocking further movement forward and archers above. If you threw them amid the zombies they can be effective. They do 1 pt of damage and slow movement. You will need to roll to hit for them.
"For whoever might be on the other end of the passage, we're going to look creepy as hell coming at them like this." Sozin says from his inverted position on the ceiling. "Shall we?" hesays and heads to the trough.
"Hah, yeah, that'd be funny if your hands stuck to everything. Like, you pat the barmaid's bottom and it gets stuck to her skirts. Haha! But I'm sure Ero'd never concoct anything like that? Would you Ero? Hope nobody's got to make water before we head on over the, uh, water - tunnel -...
Scrag's axe impacts with such terrific force that the head of the weapon doesn't stop inside the victim. It keeps going right through the already damaged zombie and cleaves that creature in a fantastic spray of gelatinized blood and viscera. The thing tries to crawl around for a moment...
