I've played D&D3.5 first and just couldn't like it. Too many options, too many books, Too many things that people can do to break their character to the point of "why even continue the campaign?"

After the 3.5 game was done, we moved on to 4e. We've had a good time, but the campaign slowly went down hill after hitting level 16. We were lucky to hit level 30 and complete the campaign in some ways.
Since then, I've played 4e and enjoyed it. I don't care what some of the old fashioned 3.5 and below players say, this is enjoyable.

Although, I did recently play Bulder's Gate. That THAC0 system was weird to me at first until a friend helped me out with obtaining a book to understand the system it was based on.

Other than that, I'm just another person out in the world. I play video games, I might soon work in the gaming industry, and pen and paper games are just another thing to be active beyond just video games.
