Personally I would use foresight and CME. Bladesinger as well. If youre using spells like that you probably have warcaster...

They can upcast at 9th level. Even 2d8 is very good.

Darth Bane books, Wraith Squadron, Thrawn Trilogy+duology Darth Plageous, Han Solo trilogy are generally top of the heap for SW books.

Its just brute damage. Eg vicious weapons plus CME. I dont rate damage that much on spellcasters outside emanations or similar...
