Batman Begins
X-Men
X2
Spawn
Mystery Men
Blade II (not a traditional "super-hero" I know... but a hero nonetheless from a comic book)
Batman (Michael Keaton version)
No kidding... I actually saw the film which is not to be spoken of at the theater. I hated it so much that I walked out about 20 minutes into it. It remains one of only 3 or 4 films I have actually not sat through after paying to see them at the theater.
Well, we will have to agree to disagree I guess on much of this... and granted, the Conan in the movie was different than the Conan of the books... but there were far more similarities found in Conan the Barbarian, which was a more serious take on the story, than Conan the Destroyer. It wasn't...
Actually compared to Conan the Destroyer (which sucked monkey balls), the first film had quite a bit to do with the original character. Many of the Hyperborean countries and kingdoms were represented, and the arms and armor worn by the characters were believable and not ridiculous as was the...
Oreius and the rhino's charge into the Witch's army as Peter's army is retreating... I love how Oreius takes out Otmin and that awesome attack against the Witch... futile as it was. The scenes of all these different creatures locked in combat was just great... and you just have to love the...
I'm sure there has been a topic or two on this game before... sorry I am new here. ;)
Anyway, any WoW players out there, and if so... what do you think of the game. What is your primary character?
I'll start:
Server: Doomhammer
Class: Human Paladin (60)
Guild: Arisen
Other characters I...
Any Martin fans out there? I'm about halfway through the latest book in the "Song of Ice and Fire" series and am loving it, though missing the ommission of some of my favorite characters (Tyrion, Clegane, Jon, and Danaeryrs). What do you all think?
But there are so many! Hrmm.... some of my favorites...
1. Dragons
2. Minotaurs
3. Unicorns
4. Centaurs
5. Orcs
6. Giants
7. Werewolves
8. Griffons/Hippogriffs
9. Pegasus
10. Gnolls
Patton
The Great Raid
Braveheart
Glory
Full Metal Jacket
Casualties of War
Band of Brothers
Tora, Tora, Tora
Enemy at the Gates
To name a few... I am sure I leave many off that list that I'll think of later!
I'm going to have to go with:
The Outlaw Josey Wales
Once Upon a Time in the West (Charles Bronson... harmonica player)
Blazing Saddles
Lonesome Dove (the first mini-series... not the follow-ups).
I enjoyed it and will be seeing it again soon. My nitpicks were minor ones. I feel Aslan's role was kind of watered-down... he just didn't get enough screen time. Also, I would have liked to see more of the scene in the Witch's castle when Aslan "awakens" all the stone creatures. We barely even...
It doesn't have to be a children's RPG, although it certainly COULD be. The setting could be during the Pevensie's Reign as High Kings and Queens of Narnia. There was quite a bit of evil still lingering in the form of the White Witch's scattered army... not to mention many of the countries...
