I love this. Pre-ordered and will be picking up the alternate cover here at MOX Boarding House. Can we get confirmation on Sithicus? Pretty please? Krynn (in some form) confirmed?
It does seem odd to me (ADA accessible dungeon) - but if the lore supports it I'm fine with it. Also there are 16 other dungeons to choose from if I don't like it. Whatever I guess.
This. Also most of the folks screaming on Twitter when it comes to D&D remain largely unheard by the majority of the player base. I wish CR success with this venture. I enjoyed the Wildemount book and am a fringe fan of Mercer and CR in that I appreciate what they've done for the hobby overall...
I'm enjoying it but there is currently a bug affecting many (myself included) that has put everything on hold. I can't load my most recent saved games - crash to desktop every time. I can go back a couple of days and load an old save, or start over fresh - but can't load the games with the most...
On the one hand it's cool because I can officially play my orc wizard without an int penalty - but on the other, the penalties were there for balance reasons. Now there's absolutely no reason NOT to play an orc or a kobold over a vanilla human.
Not another setting exactly - but I am thinking they may explore other parts of the Realms. I'm hoping for Kara Tur personally. I think Planescape is almost a given with all the hints of it scattered about recently in Rime and BG3 (and even going further back).
Hmm. This actually seems very similar to what they did with World of Warcraft back in the day... and suddenly Tauren paladins were running around everywhere.
