A rose by any other name, WotC. Softer language, same meaning. Sure, have to start somewhere, but this does nothing to foster any trust or goodwill. That is, for me at least, still very much in ruins.
Well, this thread inspired me to pick up Kobold Press' Tome of Heroes....so, yay!
In case it matters, I like the 5e system and plan to continue playing it despite WotC/Hasbro's foolishness. I just won't buy any WotC/Hasbro products. I blame WotC/Hasbro leaders for the debacle, not the game...
Oh man...half-ogres...lol. I recall a friend playing one and his battle cry was "It's all ogre now!" I swear the Skyrim mod Beyond Skyrim: Bruma somehow stole that from us when I saw it on a loading screen.

I had a similar experience not too long ago.
Still have my 2.5e Spells & Magic....decided to leaf through it for fun, and was looking through the Build-A-Cleric options and....I was floored. You can make every other class in the game...but better with the 2.5e Cleric! Even thought "Wouldn't...
For me, a good place for WotC/Hasbro to start rebuilding what they've just obliterated would be the resignations of the leaders primarily responsible for this debacle.
I mean at this point WotC/Hasbro are in a "damned if they do, damned if they don't" position (by their own hands). I feel...
