It's Time to VOTE for your MOST ANTICIPATED TTRPG of 2026!

Had a hardtime narrowing it down to 3 this year, myself. Black Company because of the IP, Deathbringer because I gave heard if for a long time, even if I now longer follow Professor DM, and OSE, because OSE are my picks. Runner up would be Stonetop and Warhammer.

Other D&D Variant [+] Curse of Strahd in Nimble vs Shadowdark

I don't know much about nimble, except that every youtuber seems to gabe a crush on it. I can say, however, that Shadowdark works really well for Strahd. The tone of the game, the lethality, the vibes. Mike Shea has some.good resources on running Curse of Strahd in shadiwdark, and the...

Kickstarter Misbehave - A fantasy adventures where you are the monster (sort of).

Have seen the playthrough by Justin and have been curious since! Are there plans, or concepts of a plan, for translations to other languages?

Will the complexity pendulum swing back?

Regarding crunchy RPGs and VTT doing the heavy lifting. Does playing in that manner scratch the itch regarding heavy crunch? Because to me it seems kinda pointless to have lot's of rules and simply have the computer handle them. I understand that is simply a preference thing. To me, if a VTT...

Fans of long series of big novels, sound off!

This series read by James Masters got me into audiobooks! Still prefer to read a big fat book, listening to a book while going for a run is awesome. And the series is great fun, too. I really love the MC, Harry Dresden, despite all the often valid criticism that gets aimed at him.

Fans of long series of big novels, sound off!

I honestly liked the first few books quite a lot, but lost interest somewhere along the way. A lot of people like Sanderson's world building, but to me, it feels kind of shallow and flat, and while I really like Dalinar (and to a lesser extent Adolin) as characters, the rest was not that...

Fans of long series of big novels, sound off!

For me the biggest two are: Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson An awesome tale about compassion, and railing against injustice. It can be quite the emotional journey. Philosphy often plays a big part, for me. It is both known for excellent writing, and being hard to get into. I can't...

Shadowdark Ran my first Shadowdark game!

I thought about running Tomb of the Dusk Queen as our first adventure, too! Decided to run the Scarlet Minotaur, because I thought if we run only one thing with SD, this should be it. How did it run? I heard nothing but praise about Sersas stuff.
