I'm looking for anyone willing to help us out on the cartography side of this new game. Check out the link first, then if you find it to your liking you can post here or there about it. I'd really appreciate the work, even the littlest bit, and I think it's a solid endeavor.

I skimmed your Living EN World thread... how's this for a first attempt to a continental overview map. (Each section of the scale is 50 miles... thus, the scale is up to 400 miles.)

If you want I can do a closer in view of a particular region. Plus what sort of terrain do you want or do I have some latitude on that. (Note: This map size is too big for terrain symbols.)

Plus, what are we going to call this Living EN World?

Cheers!

I have a proposition, for the lanscape, it is to respect some weather restriction. I mean somehing like Kalamar, something that can be more realistic and a bit more scientific (or have magical reason to see something less scientific). If you need some help on that side, I would be willing to help.

Well, I want to call the world Enworld. Seems fitting enough. You have a lot of latitude, but also keep in mind that at times we are spontaneously going to add new features to the land, new cities, towns, mountains, canyons, etc. This is part of the concept behind the game.

What do you think?

Anyone still watching this thread? If your still around, I'd like to converse some more, otherwise I may need to look for a different willing cartographer.

I'm watchi the thread, but have not placed my hand in cartography, though I can if necessary.

*Looks at the above map*

Not much to go off of though...

Map in the Gallery

Finally finished my map. Learned and re-learned a lot of stuff. Working on the other three parts. The terrain will be different because I no longer have access to the virtual airbrush.
Trees placement will probably become more stylized at some point... laying them out the way I did fits with that maps concept, but, makes for a weeks worth of swollen eyes.

Hope you enjoy whether chosen or not,
