(Adventure) The Monestary of Saint Feragon <Judge:Macbeth>

Sturm will chug over to the handaxes and grab both, handing one lightly over to Rurik as he returns, and holding the other in his mouth (as there's no time to waste sticking it in a pack) as he unties and readies his scythe, standing out in the hallway facing the western passage, knees bent and ready to go charging at whatever comes around.

OoC: And A-Bashin will the Good-Guys (and girls) Go!!!
I am assuming that Telerin,Kirin and Aranel have their missile weapons ready to go...

IC: Set for Evil, the companions await whatever comes around the corner...

Around the corner come a pack of Feral Nightmares...
A Worg, black fur matted with the blood of recent prey leads the pack, baleful yellow eyes focusing on you and then locking on Whitefang's own eyes...
Two Orcs, one unarmed, it's claws all it needs to rend flesh from bone, jaw slavering at the thought of easy prey, the second a massive brute bearing a huge Glaive, snorting in bestial glee at so many tastey morsels before it.
Far more tragic are the two former Monks, their once serene robes shreds upon obscenely muscled bodies, their eyes Mad with the hunger that prevades Kroggoth's followers.

A volley of readied missile weapons unleash Telerin's shot going wide, though Kirin's stone smacks into the Worg <2HP> and Aranel's bolt hits the cloesest Orc <9HP including sneak, as he was Flat-Footed, not having acted yet>. Both the Worg and Orc stay upon ther feet, though the Orc looks sorely wounded.

[Baddies' initiative?]

"Come an' meet yer doom, ya bastards!" Rurik jeers at the pack of ferals, shield and axe ready.

[Rurik will Power Attack the first beast within reach, taking 1 from his attack and adding it to damage (for a total of +4). If it's the one with the glaive, he'll take a 5-foot step to close to within 5' of the orc, negating his reach.]

OoC:I dont post enemies Initiative until the act... they aren't exactly holding up placards saying I act on Init 11 :D
The glaive-wielder is the close one, btw. Remember that they don't need weapons, as they have the claws, though.

Kirin will delay until either someone needs healing (seriously wounded) or the end of the round when she will hit the nearest feral with her sickle...

[And Rurik's arms are too short (much like his player's), so he'll need to close within 5' to hit anybody anyway. I just figured the glaive-wielder would, uh, use his glaive from 10'. Anyway, Rurik's gonna swing hard the first time, and in case the baddies act on initiative eleven or something, he'll delay until they close on him. :D]

Sir Ishmael strikes the ground with his hammer, letting the weapon reverberate in his hand. He says nothing as his enemies close in, waiting instead for the opportunity to strike them once they come into range.

[OCC: Hey Rurik, I thought Base attack Bonus was the limit of power attack]

"Disgusting abominations," Telerin mumbled under his breath as he quickly readied an arrow, "Whitefang! Help out our Dwarf friends."

((Telerin will take a shot at the Worg...sending Whitefang in to help out the Tanks..err, Dwarves. :D)
