"On th' other side a th' door, eh?" Troi asks, looking at the door. "Well, we gotta keep goin'... might as well figure out what's on th' other side..."

His whip at the ready, Troi opens the door.

Troi opens the (unlocked) door, showing a chamber some 20 feet wide by perhaps 40 feet long. Lit by smoky torchfire, the outline of two figures can be seen.

A massive figure looms some twenty feet from the doorway, a smaller figure nearby. The smaler one looks as if it was in the throes of a most painful agony.
The larger, an Ogre, stands by,watching. The smaller one lifts it's head, howling and then scrambles to all fours,it's head canting towards you, as does the Ogre's.

Deciding that fighting an ogre in hand to hand will probaly end up with him a pile of bloody steel, Thale drops his axe, draws his crossbow, and fires.

(+5 to attack, 1d8+1 Damage. Dropping is a free action, drawing a MEA, and firing an attack action.)

OoC:Why does Velbrik's crossbow have a -1 on the damage,exactly?

Troi (Large) - Init: 17; AC: 16; HP 14/14; Atk: Longsword +3 (2d6+2)

OoC: Stat line modified to include changes for being Large.

"Gah!" Troi exclaims as he grows in size. "That's nice!"

He drops his whip, then charges at the ogre, drawing his longsword as he goes.

Stats after charge: AC 14; Atk - Longsword +5 (2d6+2).

Thurgan- Init: 17; AC: 18; HP 19/19; Atk: Crossbow +3 (1d8+0)

Thurgan will fire his crossbow at an available target then drop his crossbow and draw his war axe.

"Them's getting bigger, huh?" Thurgan muttered.

Troi Charges the ogre, but alas, his blow fails to hit home.

Velbrik fires at the Monk, hitting him <7HP>, dropping him where he stands.

Thurgan fires at the Feral Ogre, his shot going wide and shattering on the wall <rolled a '1'...>. Then, the Dwarf draws his Waraxe.

The Feral Ogre roaers and swipes at Troi, not liking this new challenge to his supremacy <16 HP, bringing troi down to -2...>. Troi drops to the floor.

Thale is up again...
