This issue looks realy cool.

EXOTIC HEROES

Races of Eberron
by Mat Smith
See how the classic D&D races differ in Eberron, learn about creatures unique to the setting, and play one of Eberron’s new PC races, the shifter, now!

Xenophilia
by Dean Poisso
Hidden from the world and forgotten by time, four completely new PC races break from their isolation and into your game. Give your next character the chance to be truly unique!

Urban Druids
by James Jacobs
The druid class’s nature gets civilized. With buildings as their trees and streets as their rivers, this highly anticipated character class protects cultural centers as jealously as their wilderness-bound brethren guard their groves.

Truenames and Fetishes
by Philip Greely
Words have power, and names are the key. Learn how to cast spells using the strength of your truename, but beware the dangers inherent in tampering with such ancient powers.

Eye of Newt and Toe of Frog
by Jim Bishop and F. Wesley Schneider
Empower your spells with the magic of monsters! Cast spells with a macabre flair and never pay XP for spellcasting or magic item creation again!

Body of Knowledge
by Kent Purvis
Brains, blood, and bones—they’re all malleable playthings for these three prestige class masters of the living body.

Beasts of the Sun
by JC Alvarez
Strange witches of the sands, dragons of earth and stone, and spirits born of the sky; let these creatures of Central American lore storm out of myth and into your game.

Plus, “Faiths of Faerûn,” “DM’s Toolbox,” “Dungeoncraft,” “Under Command,” “Silicon Sorcery: D&D Heroes,” and more!

Exotic goodness, alright! I can already tell this is going to be a great issue. Thanks for the preview :)

Ya velcome...

I'm hoping that "cat race" character on the cover is a tabaxi. (*fingers crossed*)

Urban druids sounds rather contrived and silly, I wonder what on earth they've done with that ?!?

Since when does a druid have to be all hippy-like?

What's wrong with a druid of a non-natural ecology? Sewers full of crocs, alleys full of rats, rooftops covered with pidgeons.

Shame that the new druid only gets a single companion.

I'm really interested in these ideas, given how influential Earthsea was on me, but I've never seen rules that didn't feel kinda tacked on.

Not even AU? Those are deeply integrated into the game if anything is.
