Popular Pick?

How about these?
I only did Bronze, Silver and Gold, because everything else would look to similar to these - at least if using this image...

Yeah, but if i don't know what the pretty colors mean, it's a bit useless. Having numbers with them would be more usefull.

Actually, when I started the progression at 75 my intention was to dump 50 and _start_ at 75 sales.

And these numbers are prone to change over time, as RPGNow.com gets older.
By keeping the images free of any numbers, RPGNow.com won't need to change the images ever so often.

Yeah, but as pointed out above, some vendors wouldn't want numbers shown. Best to keep it neutral (IMHO).

Therefore, how about these:

Who are these vendors that don't want recognition for clearing major milestones?

I'm not seeing a down side to this. If the product is a Popular Pick at all, the vendor should be happy. It's also a way of letting consumers know that "everyone else bought this so you should too." Numbers are a great way to do that. Amazon does it with rankings.

Another useful measure would be to show the ranking of each product on the product's page. In other words, instead of having to visit the toplists.php page, you would know where that particular product stood in the overall rankings at any one time (again, similar to Amazon.com's ranking).

Better, a lot better, but it should say in the faq (for example) what it means exactly, otherwise it won't have much value to the consumer.

The first examples on this thread were not readable... :(

The Silver/Gold/Bronze is fine with me if others like it... Though something more obvious like just putting the milestone number in the graphic would probably work fine. I might just do that since that's very simple.

Bronze, silver, and gold, or something other than numbers seems like it would be better for boosting sales -- I suspect even stellar results, like 250, might not be that impressive to a potential customer.
