Tenebrynn shrugs as everyone ignore the plight of their treasure, to him those Sahuagin seemed to fall pretty quick though a mad dash across the beach might be a bit suicidal...
Turning to the task at hand Tenebrynn will leave Ashnar and Rinaldo at the entrance and join the others, holding the lit end of his staff high enough for everyone to see by.

The party reorganizes, with Rinaldo moving back towards the entrance of the cave, and Irene, Tenebrynn, and Charlyn moving to lead with Somac. As the party does this, the Sahaugin outside seem to wordless signal an attack. The four fishmen begin to advance into the cave. Tor and Rinaldo are closest to them, while Nurlan and Ashnar are behind Tor and Rinaldo. Ahead, by the light of Tenebrynn's staff, the party sees ledge to their left, about 3 feet high. On their right, a boulder partially conceals the path ahead.

It's inevitable, Nurlan thinks. We should have fought the battle on our terms. Now they're following us to fight on theirs. He resumes singing his inspiring song about dead goblins, since he actually doesn't know any songs about battle-crazed fish-men. He will then draw his longspear and get ready to deploy it behind the rearguard.

At the mouth of the cave, Rinaldo releases a bolt at the charging Sahaugin. It strikes one that already bears fresh burn and bolt scars. It staggers and dies. Tor's chain lashes out at the next as it closes with its trident. Weak from his rage, the barbarian can't connect. Rinaldo and Tor are attacked, but despite their current incapacity, neither sahaugin hits. Rinaldo switches weapons.
Inside the cave, Somac and Tenebrynn lead the way around the boulder, squeezing through the tight passage and guardedly shoving their light behind the rock. As they do so, Jezibel, who evidently climbed over the boulder, leaps off it at Charlyn, attempting to overrun him. Assuming Charlyn blocks, they grapple breifly, and Charlyn pushes her back. This puts Jezibel in the middle of Irene, Charlyn, and Tenebrynn. Somac is past the boulder and can't easily get back until Tenebryn moves away.
