Round 2: Almayce heals himself with the wand, for 4 points. He tries to stay away from the swarm and at the same time not make himself a target. Preferably he'll just stay out of the ratman-leader's sight behind the rock (two squares to right from Juliana), if he had the chance to move there in round 1.

Zaeryl, is it correct that you drop your ranged weapon, draw your club, and attack without moving?

*As per my post, which admittedly and understandably got lost in the mists, Zaeryl will try to move out of the swarm without provoking any AoOs or moving into any rat-threatened areas and shoot his crossbow if he can (+0 is better than -1 and better damage), but uses his club as a last resort if he can't. Since it looks like Almayce made it out it should be OK, I guess. That was for Round 1. For Round 2,much the same (crossbow shot if possible) except this time he knows about the bats and such so he is going to fight defensively. Now he probably only hits on a 20, but oh well...*

So, going back in time a bit – Juliana isn’t dead, and has to act in Round1.

I13: Zaeryl isn’t nauseated, and moves away from the bats, and not towards the AOO-invoking rats, but to a spot that allows a shot at the bats. There are two such places, one close to the bats (Z1) and one close-ish to LongTooth (Z2). Let me know which spot your prefer – or anther. In any case, you squeeze off a shot at the bat cloud, rolling a “9” and missing regardless of location.

*Zaeryl will move to Z1, figuring that the bats have no reason to move off their current space to hit him, as the current position hits Vargo and Huln, and the new one hits Vargo and Zaeryl, so no net gain in number of people hit. Plus, they probably realised by now that Zaeryl's bright bluish ichor tastes much worse than good juicy wolf-blood

OOC: Sorry, just woke up. (And hey, I'm not dead, always nice to wake up to that)

Juliana will, as I mentioned I origionaly intentioned, Wait for the ratman to approach, and ready an action. When he approaches within 10 feet, she will take a 5 foot step and attack with a trip attack. She is taking a defensive stance at the moment fearing ranged attacks.

Vargo and Huln, nauseated, will try to move outside of the swarm of bats. When Vargo gets a chance, he will use his cure minor wounds to stop Huln's bleeding.

OOC: My work has cut off all external internet access. I'm currently working 12 hour days, so I don't have a lot of free time. However, I leave this job in 2.5 weeks, and will be able to start posting again then.

(OOC: No worries, that's cool. By the way, looking at the map, you'll need to be careful to find spots where the bats won't be able to get in position to hit three people--I would suggest moving further out but you might expose yourself to Longtooth. Your call
