Knightfall's "Abstract" Digital Art Thread

Knightfall

World of Kulan DM
This is a digitial art image I created several years ago in photoshop. All of my other digital art is "abstract" so I've never thought about posting it here. If people want to see the rest of my abstract digital art then i might post more. We'll, see.

"Edit" Well, i guess I did post this here at one point: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=22670

So I'll post this image I did in Bryce instead. It's called Dark Mountain.

Yeah, post'em.

Okay, I will. But first here is a quick edit of Dark Mountain in photoshop, so you can see it better.

It turned out way better than the original. Unfortunately, I don't have access to Bryce anymore, otherwise I'd do some more. :\

Cheers!

Cujo on Fire

Okay, first of all, my art technique uses a lot of the different filters in photoshop, as well as the "smudge" tool. As a result, most of my art is very "abstract". I'll star with my first smudged photo and then get into the ones that didn't start with a base image. - KF72

Description: The first ever picture I created (smudged) was of Curtis Joseph when he was with Toronto Maple Leafs. I found the original picture in the National Hockey League photo gallery (gone now) near the beginning of the 1999/2000 season. I don't have the original anymore and can't seem to find it on the NHL site.

Milano's Explosion

Description: I'm really proud of this creation. It was originally from the official site of Alyssa Milano (I am a huge fan of hers). Click Here to see a version of the original image that I used to create this piece. (The version I used didn't have the border.)

I guess another fantasy-inspired name for this image would be "Fire Elemental". ;)

Oberon's Flame

Description: Originally a video captured image from the film Vivid with Kari Wuhrer and Stephen Shellen this image just jumped off Wuhrer during a nude scene where her character is covered in paint. However, when I was done the image seemed more fantasy inspired to me. (Thus, I decided to call it Oberon's Flame in honor of the D&D spell called Faerie Fire.)

Earth, Air, Fire & Water/Accented Elements

Description(s): This image came about after playing around with the Twirl filter in Photoshop. I don't believe there was a base image and I was just killing time. Eventually, the twirling vortex seemed to become a mix of the four elements of nature. See if you can pick them out.

The second image is a slightly modified version of "Air, Earth, Fire & Water". I wasn't really happy with the look of the colors in the first one so I used the Accented Edges filter in Photoshop to gain the above effect. This version feels more fluid than the original and it is my favorite of the two images.

Heaven

Description: This creation was originally a picture of a nude asian woman laying in a darkened room. A small window above her slightly illuminated her skin. There wasn't much color available in the picture and I really had to work to bring out the color that was available to me. As the image took shape it became an impression of what Heaven would look like from a distance. If you look carefully you might notice where the light seems to be brighter, His light is that strong.

Star Fire

Description: There was an image that I started with when I created this piece but eventually I wiped out all the of the original dark colors (red, green). Then I added tons of white and put a sharp yellow in each corner and went from there.

Color Spray

Description: This next image was my first original creation without any beginning photograph as a base. It seems a little primative to me but my mom likes it. The name of this image is in honor of the D&D spell.
