I've run this one a couple times, and I recommend it as a good intro to IH (which was its intent).Pbartender said:Finally, there is a free Adventure called "The King Must Die!"...
The King Must Die! is a great system introduction. Three to four encounters, each well designed to showcase the IH mechanics while still being playable. The only one that's difficult to run is the statue fight (encounter 2), where the party is fighting up and down a 50 ft tall statue; there isn't a map, so that's a bit difficult to properly represent.malladin said:I'm just thinking about trying out an IH game and was wondering what there is in the way of pre-made adventures out there (free or otherwise) and how these were rated. What makes a really good intorduction to the game?

Other than that, you can run any D&D adventure using IH. It was intentionally designed to work with the D&D CR system. There a couple caveats elaborated in Mastering Iron Heroes.
Aha! There *is* a map! I had the same issue, as the description of the statue is confusing. However, there is a map... though it seems to have disappeared (along with the adventure) from Monte's site.ValhallaGH said:The King Must Die! is a great system introduction. I can post the files when I get home.
