Anyone know what this kind of wizard's skullcap is called?

Or is it just called a "skullcap"?

I'm using the Corymyr wizard mini from the Unhallowed set, and I'd like to have an enchanted cap. Just was wondering if I could call it something that rolls off the tongue...

If you're really going for historical accuracy, a skullcap is more like a beanie or a yarmulke. I would call the hat in the picture a hood or coif. But, as long as you and your players know what you're talking about, call it anything you like. That's the important thing.

Throw my vote for coif as well - although that usually goes all the way around the head and neck. It's too 'large' for a skull cap. Historically its modeled off of the 'Biggins', which is a commoner head covering worn by male and female alike, usually made from linen or cotton, but the fabric and accoutrament is way too fancy for this piece to be called a biggins.
