UPDATED! A MAC only 3rd Edition DM Utility. NEW VERSION 3.0.5 : Random Treasure Generator based on Encounter Level, Experience Award Calculator, and several bug fixes from 3.0.4

Crystalball Features:

•Generate Random Treasure based on Encounter Level.
Generate up to 20 EL of treasure.
Generate Random Magic Items
Includes Intelligent Items and Cursed Items from DMG.

•Calculate Experience Awards
Quickly calculate experience awards for your players based on Challenge Rating and the
Average Level of the party.

Roll multipule dice by typing in the roll on the dice window. ie: 3d6, 12d6 etc...


•Generate any character class from the:
Players Handbook
Oriental Adventures
and Psionics Handbook

•Generate any type of Monster
Based on Monster Manual and Dragon Magazine Article "How to Create a Monster"
Now you can create you own horrors to sick on your Players!

•Multiclass! Multiclass! Multiclass!
Just make sure you know the rules for multiclass characters.
I did not restrict any multiclass possibilites.

•Manage Campaign Details:
such as Experience awarded to Player Characters,
Treasure Awarded to Player Characters
Campaign Notes

•Combat Utility!
Keep track of initiative, Hitpoints, and Damage for up to 20 NPCs.
(You can keep track of a thousand Initiative rolls if you so desire.)
Roll To Hit and Damage for all your NPCs with one click of the Mouse!
Quickly load your players and NPCs into the initiatve box and Roll for those who don't have a roll.

•Random Names
Generate a million and one random names.
Never be without a name for NPCs or places again.

•Stat Block Text File Output
Export your NPCs and Monsters in a similar format to the MM and DMG for printing or whatever.

Looks great, Crystalball.

Question for you. Are there any plans to add the monster templates from the MM into the mix? With the last version, I tried to design a few wererat rogues and couldn't do it. On the same note, can I give monsters classes and levels?

MM Templates

I will have to take a look at that...
I don't know what it will entail to add templates....

However, you can multiclass a Vermin (or any monster class) with a Character Class all you want. So you can make a Wererat and give it a couple levels of Rogue if you want.

I will look at the templates and see what is needed.

Undead have Con scores.
Skill ranks can be decreased below 0. In contrast, there's no way to zero out a fractional rank.
Psionics needs a big update.

I didn't try very hard... :\
