OOC: Got it. And thanks to the fact that I know Python, I recognize what happened, and I was correct in assuming I missed.

OOC : Not sure of the timing but Mal's next round is fairly boring ; Get free of the damn glue!

Since it's all about the saving throw at the end of his turn, he'll use his second wind to go back to full health. Since it's a standard action, might as well do it now while he's wasting a round anyway.

HP back at 34.

Defenses at +2 (AC 21, Ref 16, will, 15, for 19) until the end of his next turn.

Mal struggles to get free. (1d20=20)

((OOC: In the interest of moving things along, I overrule Mal's invalid action. Instead, he moves to set himself up for a charge next round and ensures the side room is not a threat. Mal can still revert to his original action, but This is better on the real info.))

The kobold jabs Telsayn with is spear, deperately try to fend off the Dragonborn.
(1d20 6=9, 1d8=5)

Realizing his ineffectiveness, he tries to retreat, but Aelek' interenference leaves him open to a quick strike from Telsayn.
Telsayn swings a timely blow at the kobold. (1d20 4=8, 1d8 2=3)
The kobold dodges the pick and taking advantage of Telsayn's momentum, steps back, squeezes through the portcullis and just makes it too the corner of the hall.

OOC : Thanks Vargo. Mal would thaks Tel though he probably doesn't even realize it was due to him ;)

Mal is ready to go in if Arden succeeds at opening the porticulli.
Still have HP 27 and my healing surge since my previous action was cancelled.

I say we follow now ; we have not expanded significant ressources and if we wait to recuperate the little we have lost (hp, mostly) we will be certain to have a well prepared reception commitee when we go in. Presumably they are still disorganized at the other end of the corridor at this moment.

OOC2 ; If the mage hand doesn't work (which I expect it will, mind you), then we should assume Mal tries to lift the porticulli with the aid of as many assistant as can fit in the available space.
