M1: Just a Treasure Hunt?? (Bront Judging)

His hand and shirt covered in his own blood, Corran steps away from the approaching warforged. In dismay, he sees the others hold back and shouts, "do not retreat, friends. You make yourselves prey! Show them your fangs, instead!" He quickly brings his crossbow up and fires it into the chest of the nearest enemy.

In the Shadow of Giants (Round 2)

Telling the lost brother to call it off, Genithar continues building up his wards. [mage armor] Nearby, Teran calls upon Dol Korran's strength for battle. [divine favor] Shadé growls at the approaching 'forged, becoming more feral and wild at the same time. But her attacks are more reckless than effective. [Axe and bite miss]

Ethan, blood apparent on his leathers, pulls back to cover. He unstoppers a flask from his wrist bracer, healing most of his wounds.

Overhead, another fiendish blast streaks down, this time smashing into the 'forged before Corran, stripping away some of its pulpy fibers. [EB, wounded]

The hunter steps back and unloads his crossbow at point-blank range into the warforged before him. The bolt cracks through the adamatine plating, letting a thick blood-like resin seep freely. [Critical; 4hp after DR; bloodied]

The warforged continue unabated. Two charge the faithful of Kol Korran while the other nearby pair focus on the shifter. Teran ducks under the first bastard sword, but the others knocks his shield aside with a light gash. [4hp] The story is similar for Shadé, who does not avoid the savage swipe across her torso. [11hp; Shadé bloodied] The others begin to swarm the party.

Gregory's luck is better this time, his bolt striking one of the 'forged assaulting Teran. [5hp after DR]

In the Shadow of Giants (Round 3)

Genithar whips his angled features back and forth, gaining a complete view of the battleground as his blonde hair hovers etherially. Backing up until his slender back is against the statue, the elf attempts to scramble up the ancient stone, trying to join the still hidden Thral'K.

Scrabbling at the rock though, the Wizard knows he won't go far and spins, whipping a scroll from off his belt and reading the incantation in a frenzied manner, pointing his finger at he most wounded warforged as a bolt of pure arcane energy leaps from his finger and travels unerringly towards its target, detonating with some force into it's metallic and wood hide.

Teran moves 5 foot to be back to back with Greggory and swings his mace forward to hit the warforged. He lay out his mace and glows with holy light. However, his swing is a bit off and he misses.

Terran, attack and damage (1d20 6=8, 1d8 2=8)

Corran steps behind the shifter and attempts to heal her wounds without taking his eyes completely off the closest warforged. Here, let me see if I can ease some of that pain.

In the Shadow of Giants (Round 3)

[Taking out a scroll is a move action, or part of a move action if you have it on a bandolier or such. *Not* a free action]

Genithar keeps his back to the statue, and casts another spell from his collection. The magic bolt smashes into the damaged 'forged, and it topples over motionless. [T6 downed] Terran cover's his employer's back, but his swing hits only air.

Surrounded on all sides, the feral shifter lashes out with axe and tooth, the former cutting down one the latter resulting in a sharp sting---adamantine tastes foul! [S6 cut down with a good hit (15hp after DR); bite misses]

Ethan is nowhere to be found.

Another hellish bolt fires from above, searing the 'forge Gregory hit. It buckles to the ground to Terran's relief. [O4 falls] Corran uses the opening to heal the raging shifter, though it is barely effective. [cure light for 3hp]

The warforged are undeterred. One rushes Terran, forcing him back and drawing a wound. [5hp] The one stepping up the wizard fortunately misses, but another catches Shadé with a wicked jab! [8 hp (at 0)] Coughing up blood, the shifter grins and bellows---forcefully standing her ground. [Not disabled due to Shifter Ferocity]

Gregory slams another bolt into his crossbow, unloading into the nearest 'forged. [6hp after DR to P6]
