Gaming Book Shelf Competition

I know this sounds weird, but I've always wanted to create a virtual library space on my computer. A 3-D interface of my meatspace library room will all the "books" (ie, pdfs) in the same space.

Jeff, what a nice space!
Gospog has a glorious set-up. I think he has (a LOT) more miniatures, and I may have more RPG books. That's largely due to the ENnies. Heck, Crothian probably wins; he's been an ENnies judge six times.

Photos attached: bookcases 1-8, although 3 is only half-full and 8 is largely ancillary stuff like map tiles.

How much of that would you say is ennies review stuff?

Here's mine:

The binders on the floor are all .pdfs that have been printed out. I don't have enough shelves yet to put them anywhere else.

If I could get the first picture to display the correct way, I would.

I used to have boxes and boxes of pdfs I had printed out plus stuff I had found on the web and printed out (net books of spells, fan site materials, etc.) dating back to the 90s. Storage space became an issue with moves and kids and I felt better about letting those printouts go than actual books and switched my purchasing to pdfs which are easier to store. I now only print out things I plan to use at the gaming table directly (usually individual monster entries, pictures, and sometimes copy and pasted specific text entries such as NPCs with material from multiple books).

My physical books take up a bit more than one bookshelf but I have passed those up in pdfs. My list

Thanks for all the entries so far!

It'll be possible to post your entry till Friday. Then the winner will be announced at some time around the weekend - it depends on how long the judges take. Oh, the judges are me and my gaming buddy Harry.

Cheers!

Who has the greatest of them all? Please post a picture of your gaming book shelf so we can decide.

(My own unworthy collection is stored in a small box under a table, so I dare not compete...)

I think I won't dare compete either. I have a bookshelf, but no game room.:(

This is about three years old. It's grown a bit since then.

Okay, here we go...

The first shelf was just fine. The unit on the other wall I took pictures of shelves 1-3 (including top) and 3-5. The unit in the closet was placed so all I could do was take a picture of a shelf at a time. A lot of the boxed sets are actually full of books themselves to save space on my shelves. The boxes are all Dragon Magazines from issue 47 on with a few Polyhedrons and Dungeons mixed in.
