Email me (tomender@ptd.net) with the size and I'll tell you where to put it. If it's not over 10 megs you can email it if that's feasible on your end. Or you could split it into smaller files, I really appreciate this.

The above file, including most of the pre-made stuff is a 15 meg photoshop file. My home email is through hotmail and it can't send anything more then 1.2 megs . I should be able to split it and send it from work on Monday though . Glad you like it btw... it took a while, but it was a labor of love.

Those are very good maps.

I have CC2 and it does make certain elements of map creation easier, but in order to make them look professional they still need to be photoshopped. I re-did my campaign setting map (attached), which was done with CC2 and PS.

Minimizing layers seriously trims the size of photoshop files. Photoshop files also usually zip up pretty well. When I asked you to share I was asking if you wouldn't mind sharing some actions and some of your icons. That map is great but I'm more interested in things a bit more generic.


BTW: I also have CC2 but havn't had the time to learn it yet.

that's 15 megs with a fairly conservative use of layers actually. I'm used to working with images up to as large as 1 gig at work... so budgeting layers is part of that. Anyway, I'll see if I can gather my actions... they are all based on pre-done textures and images I have though.

I've been experimenting with the Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG) format, for maps. In theory, this would allow online maps that players could zoom in on.
