Hi there! I've been trying to design a world map for my own original roleplay scenarios, I went through several different versions of a world map over time, some more detailed than others. I eventually settled on a very basic map that was made in the paint app on my PC. I had made other variations of the map in the past, but I don't have those files anymore. It's a very early work in progress of a very simplistic roleplay game world. I was wondering if others here who likely have much more experience in this sort of thing than me, could share some their thoughts on this. I attached an image of my world map to the post, but it's only a small part of a larger roleplay world which as of now is nowhere near complete. It's not meant to look pretty or anything like that, it's just meant to be easy to understand so I decided not to add much of any detail to it. For the longest time I had several text files with various characters, creatures, and statistics that I used when playtesting my ideas. But after my old PC crashed the files could not be recovered. Anyway, another project I've been working on is creating and playtesting random ideas such as objectives, missions, and quests that can be done with miniatures, random items, and terrain objects on basic square grids or hex grids as part of a tabletop miniature battle. If I'm being honest my favorite part of the hobby is collecting fantasy themed miniatures from various different games and brands, and then setting them up on a board or terrain and roleplaying random battle scenarios like the one in this video for example. I'm planning to playtest the idea in another video later on, but here I just talk about most of the scenario's details and each side's objectives or goals, which I changed a few things about it after uploading this. Please let me know what you think, and if you're interested in trying out the idea, I'd greatly appreciate your insight into how it could be improved. I'm fairly certain there are some issues with this scenario that I haven't fixed yet. Thank you for reading my post and thanks in advance if you want to help improve this scenario.
