[Redacted]! Well ain't this a let down if true. They could have gone for Asguardian like. Aliens with a mythological theme, her being some sort of genetic experiment.

With all that said, I’d bet a year’s pay – in MONOPOLY money, of course – that the “Amazons” of this cinematic DCU will be descendants of those “ancient Kryptonians” who attempted to set up Kryptonian outposts throughout spacedom thousands and thousands of years ago. Furthermore, I say that Wonder Woman will be powered-down, if you will, relative to Superman because these Amazons have evolved and adapted to living on Earth for hundreds of centuries. And since Kryptonians are produced without any “He’n and She’n” – Jor El and Lara excluded – couldn’t this original Kryptonian on Earth have used this reproductive science to create an all-female race? I say yes!

This is for the movie, right? Meh, whatever. I don't know why they came up with such a lazy background, but I don't really expect any great ideas in a movie with DC characters.

Demagic-ing Wonder Woman makes $en$e to not chafe the sensibilities of those who will tolerate sci fi elements, but not mystical elements.

Also I kinda wondered how Snyder was planning on demeaning Wonder Woman. WW chasing Superman for SuperBabies! was a idea that entered my brain, but was then discarded because I didn't think Snyder would be that crass, but apparently that is exactly what Snyder's doing! They are going to keep using that ridonkulous herring of Supes having the Kryptonian DNA bank in him. WW's side will have access to a Kryptonain baby maker, but only female DNA so they will pursuing Supes for his DNA bank because they want man-babies! I hope I'm wrong, but I think Snyder's track record speaks for itself.

That is confirmed with rumors of Denzel Washington making a cameo as a Green Lantern in the Batman vs Superman flick.

Denzel? They sprang for him? Not the first actor to come to my mind for John Stuart, but talk about bringing out the big guns!

Well, except for that. I don't really feel Green Lantern should be in the movie at all (he should be left for the Justice League movie, or even a standalone film), but it's a good choice of actor.
