[Vankleek Hill, Ontario] One year after the initial release of Librum Equitis volume 1, Ambient Inc. has removed it from our exclusive virtual storefront at RPGnow. Free copies of the 114 page Librum Equitis Compiled PDF are being sent out to all of our customers who have purchased both Librum Equitis volumes 1 and 2 over the next week.

You can read more about Librum Equitis Compiled at our product page at RPGnow or at Dreadgazebo.com

That's really a nice idea.

I haven't had a chance to read it all yet, but so far it's looking pretty good. Was their any changes done to the PrCl or are they exactly like they were in the orginal books?

This edition includes the errata we published for Librum Equitis volume 1, as well as the prestige class that was added to the print edition of Librum Equitis volume 1 (the Collegiate Bard) because it ties in with the LE2 Bard Prestige Class (The Circle of the Lute).

The classes from LE2 have remained as-is, but have been joined by a few classes from Necromancer's Legacy (which are in turn errata'd versions of the classes from Thee Compleat Librum ov Gar'Udok's Necromantic Artes) - including one class that was added to the Print Edition but that is not in the electronic version.

Plus we added in two new classes completely, one of which is the Blighted Slayer, an assassin Prestige Class I wrote originally for Crimson Contracts - The Assassin's Manifesto (but which was not included therein) which uses the Blight Magic rules from Mystic Eye Games' "Blight Magic" book. And to make it easy on those who don't have Blight Magic, we have included a single-page capsule version of the Blight Magic rules.

Since the release, Librum Equitis compiled has managed to claw the old Librum Equitis volume 1 stats up another two notches on the top sales list at RPGnow.

Thanks everyone!

(PS: copies are still outbound for those loyal customers who bought both LE1 & 2, and everyone who bought both should have the compiled edition by Monday or Tuesday).

Does the free offer include those people who bought hardcopies of Vol 1? I got my Vol 1 at my FLGS and then bought vol 2 from RPGNow.

Best original prestige class books out there!

Vol 1 got me started on Ambient stuff. The only regret I have is now I MUST buy the new Necromancer's Legacy. I bought the PDF with just the Ambient name to recommend it and love the ideas in that one. Can't wait to see the new stuff.

Thanks Mike, but for the time being the answer is 'no'. We are considering a list of methods for obtaining a proof of purchase of the print edition of LE1.

I'll post an update here and to the Ambient Inc. website when a final decision is reached.

How 'bout having an autographed copy that was purchased at Origins? :)
