Elmore's artwork is just classic, IMO. Lockwood is very good, yet also seems to be more comic book in presentation. Similar style to Todd McFarlane or Joe Quesada. Personally, I prefer Elmore's style.

I'd only ever seen this version.

The two together don't look quite as good, in my opinion.

I agree. Each half is so rich and realistic, that making them be contrasts blows the effect, for me.

The left is Green Ronin's Plot and Poison. I really don't know if the right has actually been used yet.
