What started as a fun thing to do online morphed into an actual book, with some blessing by WotC, I think. I'm biased but I think with good reason. Wan't to mix it up and throw something that should be familiar but just isn't at your players! Then this might be that book for you.

I LOVE that he highlights the credits page!

He started talking to his Dad as he went through the Monster Manual. His dads comments were hilarious and they ran with it. Redoing several monsters as his dad saw them.

I think the blurb on the back explains or pretty well. Dude showed his dad the monster manual and asked him to describe and name each of the creatures based solely on the pictures, and rewrote the monster entries to match what his dad described.
