Pathfinder 1E GM help: looking for a certain type of monster

Hello everyone!
As I have been gamemastering a campaign for a while, and now i have a need for a monster that is able to inflitrate a court, corrupt a king, to make him paranoid and manipulate the king to do what this monster councilor decides to drive for.
Think of any cliche evil assistant for a king, such as wormtongue to theoden, Jafar to Sultan or Lazarus to Leoric (especially this last one). But i want it so that the king has been driven mad and has executed most if not all other members of his council and family. Motivations ideas would be welcome as well.

For reference, the kingdom is dwarven and inside a mountain (as per usual cliches). It has been in isolation from human lands for couple of decades because the king is paranoid and manipulated.

My ideas thus far: just a regular humanoid or a succubus. But the succubus i have already used and would not want to repeat.

Your help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!

You could use a Rakshasa or a Lamia Matriarch, or for something a bit more obscure, a Nogitsune (an oni possessing a kitsune).

For a slightly different approach, you could use an Accomplice Devil.

An evil Empusa might also work. Or, for equal-opportunities corruption, an Incubus.

Or you could have the "villain" actually being controlled by a Wizard's Shackle (probably an Archwizard's Shackle, since they tend to have more understandable goals).

I second the Rakshasa, since it has an innate power to change shape into any humanoid creature, and also a number of key spells like suggestion, detect thoughts and minor image. I've been using one in a highly modified version of books 2 & 3 of the Serpent's Skull AP, adapted to PF2, and so far the Rakshasa has only appeared in human form, leading the players to think he's just a clever human wizard.

Several NPCs have refered to him as "that old crocodile", but the players assumed it was just a sort of odd insult, and didn't follow up on it.

Raksasha would be good, however i also had a rakshasa the party has met already, but they dont know it. This could be a different Rakshy...

Have it be a rival - the first one's sister, or similar. And you can drop hints about the first one in its dialogue. Then, later on, you can re-introduce the first one as an adversary to the adversary. It's often fun to show the PCs that they aren't the only ones with an agenda.

Why not just use a Human cleric of an evil God? Or if you really want to make it hard of a neutral Diety who either wants power or is pursuing some other agenda usint the Kings resources
