Bards, artificers, swordmages, warlocks, and wizards were all Arcane classes, but they didn't share any spells in common.

Yes, 4e differentiated between different power sources, but that was primarily a flavor thing. An arcane character should do things this way, a divine character that way. But it's not like 4e bards could cast fireballs or anything like that.
