DDD June 2023 Issue Art Preview #1: Brigands are ruthless outlaws who specialize in ambushing and robbing travelers. They will have two unique features: Bushwack and Guerilla Tactics!
Brigands will be filling in the CR sections between that the bandit, thug, bandit captain, and my bandit lord (from MME3). The standard brigand is CR 1/2, the brigand captain is CR 3, and the brigand leader is CR 6.

DDD June 2023 Issue Art Preview #4: Presenting my version of the Cacus, which is originally from Greek Mythology. The Cacus is a gigantic centaur-like creature, having the upper body of a horned fire giant and the lower body of a colossal bull. Yes, this thing is huge. It will squish pesky adventurers with its flaming maul or trample them with its hooves. Or cook them with its incendiary breath!

DDD June 2023 Issue Art Preview #5: The Vrykolakas is an undead vampire-like creature template that you can apply to any dragon, giant, or monstrosity. They appear normal at first, until they shapechange into their vrykolakas form - which is into a feral vampire-bat-like version of themselves. Featured in the image are the vrykolakas versions of the oni, adult red dragon, and manticore.
