It started technically, last year during Gen Con. A bunch of the folks that didn't go decided to make the longest thread ever down in meta. Which turned into a bunch of the peolple that frequent meta just chating and getting to know one another. After a while the mods stepped in and restricted use to three threads at a time, and asked we tag our threads with something. One of the suggestios was [hivemind] (which has a syory too.) that;s what we went with. after ir became obvious we weren't just going to tapper off and go away they moved use up here to what they all felt was the correct forum. That's how it started. Now over time new folks have come in and we all just like to chat. I guess it's just that simple.
