Ruger Mini-14 stats?

Just a quick question for all you out there who are familiar with the D20 Modern rules and modern firearms. I'm looking for the stats for what a Ruger Mini-14 might look like in D20 Modern?

The Mini-14 is a versitile rifle in the tradition of the M1 Garand and the M-14. It's used by homeowners, hunters, survivalists, law enforcement agencies, and military forces. It fires a .223 centerfire cartrige, and it is very lightweight, durable, and compact.

Considering the popularity of this rifle, I'm surprised it wasn't already included in the D20 Modern book. Oh well.

Without my copy of UMF here at work, I would guess Mini-14 would be roughly comparable to the AR-15, but I forget the barrel length on the Mini-14, so it may be closer to the M4 carbine instead.

Just as a guess though...
Ruger Mini-14, 2d8, 20, Ballistic, 80' , S, 30 box, Large, 7 lb, Purchase DC: 15, Licensed (+1) (5.56mm ranch rifle)

An optional 40 round magazine is available for this weapon, increase the purchase DC by +1.

Like I said, without my copy of Ultramodern Firearms, the best I can offer is an educated guess, based on what I remember offhand about mine. :)

Your range increment is off by 10 feet.

Your Purchase DC is off by 1.

When this book is printed, there are 10-round box (standard with rifle), 5-round box, 20-round box, and 30-round box.

Nevertheless, good recollection.

There is nothing in the book describing a ".223 centerfire cartridge," in that weapon's entry. Only that it fires 5.56mm.

ahhh ranger .223 is 5.56mm,
As for the box? you mean magazine i hope. The standard is a 30 round.
As for the stats the safest way to go is to go with a AR-15 stat since the mini-14 is a rifle as is the AR or M-16A2. A M-4 is not a rifle and is a carbine, hence the difference is range along with the barrel length.

You mean I can walk into a gun shop and purchase the Mini-14 rifle and the 30-round clip comes standard (not optional)? Sweet.

from the shop you woll likely get a 5 round clip or maybe a 10 round, but thats it.

at some gunshows you can find the older mags that hold more, but there illegal to manafacture in the us now since all the anti gun nuts have had their way.
