Mostly know it through retro reviews and snippets posted there: very old school, reminds me of early Rogue-like text RPGs in vibe.That sounds about right. I don't remember it well - I never owed it but it was pretty big amongst the D&D players I associated with in the early 80s - much bigger than Greyhawk. It was tonally grimdark, more akin to Warhammer.

Yeah, big over the top maps were Judges Guild's claim to fame: very ahead of their time on that.I do remember it had big foldout maps.
