That sounds about right. I don't remember it well - I never owed it but it was pretty big amongst the D&D players I associated with in the early 80s - much bigger than Greyhawk. It was tonally grimdark, more akin to Warhammer.
Mostly know it through retro reviews and snippets posted there: very old school, reminds me of early Rogue-like text RPGs in vibe.

The special edition cover of the DCC Core rulebook was the map. Thanks to someone on facebook posting this. I home hoping the announcement from Dungeon Con will make the youtube channel. Maybe we'll get a better idea of the licensing situation.

If they really have bought the IP, CISO and the Wilderlands are the two best properties.

Citadel of Fire, Tegel Manor, Thieves of Fortress Badabaskor, Trial of Fire, City State of the World Emperor, the Unknown Gods, Temple of Ra Accursed by Set and -- for the name alone, if nothing else -- Glory Hole Dwarven Mine, will probably have people interested in purchasing updates/adaptations. But I'm not sure they can necessarily carry a whole OAR, unless they go back to OAR #1 and put several of them together in a single volume.

Also I'm curious if Wraith Overlord -- the dungeon levels for City State of the Invincible Overlord -- will be included with CISO.

I'll be following this with interest, and supporting it as long as Bledsaw Jr is in no way involved.
I lost a character battling the Witches of Marmon in the Wilderlands (in around 1981), so any chance to go back will be welcomed!
