D&D General DALL·E 3 does amazing D&D art

D&D spell illustration challenge, day 46, way too late to count: Enlarge/Reduce.

Note: OK, I am starting again, this time switching to Hunyuan 3.0 multimodal for image generation. It's technically an open weight model you can run at home, so it is the kind of tool I like to use, but it needs massive ressources, far outside the reach of consumer graphic cards. I might use 2.1 instead but I wanted to test 3.0 and there is a free interface on Tencent website (in Chinese). It allows... more complex illustrations.

Prompt: A four-panel fantasy comic illustration, consistent in style, characters, and setting. The overall mood should mix the author and absurdity, with exaggerated expressions in a gothic yet cartoonish aesthetic. Consistency of characters across all panels is critical: the same sinister wizard and the same shackled prisoner, both always recognizable. General setting atmosphere and: The panels take place in a dimly lit medieval dungeon or interrogation chamber. The walls are rough stone, lit by flickering torches casting orange and yellow light, contrasted with shadows. The wooden table and iron shackles look heavy and medieval. Colors are muted, leaning toward browns, greys, deep reds, with splashes of magical glow when needed. Character Design for Consistency: The sinister wizard: Tall, thin, slightly hunched. He wears long dark robes, embroidered with silver arcane sigils. His face is pale and angular, with sharp cheekbones and a hooked nose. His eyes glow faintly with magical energy (bluish or greenish). His hands are long-fingered, bony, always moving dramatically. He projects both an antée and absurd comedic exaggeration. The prisoner: A middle-aged man, unshaven, tired, wearing a simple torn tunic. He is shackled with iron manacles to the table, his expression alterning between fear, confusion, and reluctant compliance. His remains features consistent across panels. Panel 1: Close-up, dramatic angle. The wizard stands at one side of the table, holding a pétanque ball (shiny metallic, heavy sphere) directly above a steaming dish of beans. His other hand gestures dramatically, fingers splayed. A speech bubble shows the word "REDUCE". A faint magic surrounds the ball and the dish. The prisoner is not visible yet. The focus is on the wizards menacing expression, the ball, and the beans. Panel 2: Medium shot, full view of the chamber. The wizard now places the dish of beans in front of the shackled prisoner sitting at the wooden table. The wizard leans forward slightly, smug and sinister, as if presenting a grim feast. The prisoner looks skeptical, row furrowed, hands still bound, but able to reach the food. Torchlight illuminates their faces, shadows dancing on the stone walls. Panel 3: Closer angle on the prisoner. He is reluctantly eating the beans with a wooden spoon, expression grimacing but obedient. The wizard looms behind him in the background, watching intently with glowing eyes, his hands folded together, his mouth curved into a satisfying but menacing smile. Steam rises from the beans, reinforcing their mundane absurdity contrasted with the ominous setup. The Panel 4: Medium close-up, focused on both characters. The wizard leans toward the prisoner, pointing a long bony finger in his face. His expression is deadly serious, eyes glowing more intensely. A speech bubble from the wizard contains the threatening line: "Now I'll ask a question." If I don't get answer, I'll be irritated. And irritation to break my concentration...” The prisoner looks wide-eyed, caught between fear and disbelief. The background is dark, shadows heavy, spotlighting the tension of the moment. Style details for all panels: outlines Bold around characters, ensuring clarity and comic style. Consistent character proportions and facial features. Expressive body language: the wizard's exaggerated gestures, the prisoner's reluctant compliance. Speech bubbles with clear, legible text, slightly gothic font. Dramatic lighting in every panel, maintaining a gothic atmosphere.

Commentary: Too bad you can't cast Enlarge on top of stopping the concentration on Reduce as at this point, the metal ball isn't within view...
