Spelljammer Is Shatterspace the 5e equivalent of the Astromundi Cluster?

I'm reading the Spelljammer novel Memory's Wake, and I'm wondering: is "Shatterspace" the 5e equivalent of the Astromundi Cluster/Clusterspace? If not, the concepts seem really similar. I wonder if there's more to it than "We think this name sounds better." I'm guessing the whole Worldbreaker mythos was something added just for this novel.

I can't say for sure since I've not read Memory's Wake but it did seem like something quite similar from a blurb I saw on the book.
Here's the relevant bit in case anyone's curious:

It probably is, as it is also known as "The Shattered Sphere". Astromundi had some issues that wouldn't fly with modern WotC (the Antilan fascist/supremacists of the Sun Mage Empire, the Thoric "aryans" and the occidental thieving Varan being obvious examples). That's probably the reason for not using it directly.

Yeah this definitely sounds like a rebooted version of Clusterspace with the background details moved into the mythic past (so long ago not even the gods remember). It never made sense to me that the civilizations of cluster space grew out of the remnants of what came before when it literally involved two planets colliding. It would take millions of years for any of the resulting astreroids to become inhabitable again after that even with magic.

It may also be Moragspace. Both Clusterspace and Moragspace were nothing but asteroids, but Moragspace did contain a Gammaroid shell that was turned into a Scro base. Shatterspace also has a giant turtle shell (gammaroid?) that is now a city. The only difference are the suns. I can't remember if they described Shatterspace sun in the book though. Anyone know about that
Or it could also be a merged space of both Morag and Cluster since one was more fleshed out then the other.
