Yeah Angcuru, I know what you mean. Better not let him near all those chipmunks that fall in the pool and drown. He might try to turn them into lutefisk. Or would that be lutechipmunk?:eek:

mmmm corned beef. Much better if you add a few whole peppercorns to the broth while preparing it.

And some celery.

But no lutemunk. That's just a bad idea.

fish sauce is one of the basic ingredients of thai, vietnamese, laotian, and cambodian cuisines.

it is dried anchovies, salt, water and sugar.

it may sound a little odd but it is great.

adds a nice saltiness that is deeper in flavor then salt or soy. nothing can replace it.
