Speedball. Recently done for the game that I actually play in. This weekend, Geoff, who plays Speed, came back to town and we got a great game in.

Sorry about the double post there. I tried to delete one of them... but it didn't want to let me.

Anyway,

Here is a private commission for I believe is a Mutants and Masterminds character... it might be Champions. The character is from the fertile imaginings of Paul Cocker. Forgive me Paul if it isn't M&M and something else.

Dragoon.

btw, the two figures are one and the same, due to mystic transformation. Although, cynical P.I. and his pet mandragon could tell a few stories I bet...

Private commission, more playing with digital color over pencils.

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your work. I have been collecting comics for over 30 years and have a friend who is a professional inker with DC - this is some VERY nice work.

I especially liked the guy wielding the two kukris. They make wonderful weapons, both in art and in real life.

Keep up the good work. I might check back with you in the future for some commissions.

Best regards,

Collin

Thank you Collin, your encouragement is really great to hear!!

Who is your inker friend? And what is he/she is inking these days? I don't buy comics anymore (although I do buy a graphic novel once a month... love the JSA G.N.s of late!)... but I do kinda keep my ear and eye out.

Anyway, here is another private commission

Here is a private commission for a fantasy game. Here is Viktor. Paladin of a sun-god. Flaming sword and shield enchanted to work without a wielder in protection of said Viktor.

Genesis Paints.. no digital nuthin. totally traditional... except Genesis dries via being heated, so that ain't very traditional. The paint is only been on the market for about 3 years. Works and feels like oil paint.

My friend is Ande Parks. We went to high school together and did a comic book fanzine back in the early 80's during that time that was just a local thing. He stuck it out and is now actually a professional. His main job right now is inking Green Arrow, with Phil Hester on pencils. Phil is from Iowa; Ande lives about an hour from me outside of Kansas City. Ande is currently working on writing a graphic novel about the Kansas City Union Station massacre which brought the FBI into the forefront and allowed J. Edgar Hoover to achieve enormous authority and power.

Keep the pretty pictures coming. I love them all!

Collin, next time I'm at a comic store, I'll check out his inking in Green Lantern.

Here is a character for my Black Ops game that has been done for awhile, Gunmetal Silk. Silk is actually a published character in Hero's Underworld Enemies 4th ed (which I actually illustrated many years ago). She became very important when a player character, Neil's Cyberblade, turned out to be Silk's twin. I haven't shown the new pic because Silk had been kidnapped by the bad guys and last night during game play, got to reveal that she was under their control.

But here is Silk. Digital color over pencils.

Actually it is Green Arrow, not Green Lantern.

LOVED the new artwork - Silk. As we used to say back in the day, "AWESOME!"
