And not the first time he's become a man-spider. It's generally a good story, like "I, Monster."

And great to see Jon Bernthal back as Punisher. He really slots into the part well and is able to show both the detachment and emotional damage of someone who would snap like that. Very different mannerisms from how he appears in interviews, when being himself.

I always loved the Punisher and Spiderman cross overs in the comics. They contrast well.

I give the chances of this being good about 5 kelvin--so close to absolute zero that it just doesn't matter.

The actor is fine. The writing for this version of Spider-Man has been terrible.

It's both surprising and refreshing to see a movie Spidey costume that doesn't [seem to] have lots of raised textures and detail (beyond the core detail of the black web lines). It's flat and sleek - and even ripples in the wind!

Peter is cyber stalking his old friends, also looks like his mutating into actual spider-man. Also Bernthal hunting down Spiderman. Organic Webbing, Punisher, Banner, Scorpion. This takes place 4 years after the events of the last spider man movie I believe.

I didn't get the impression Punisher was hunting down Spidey. Rather he and Peter seemed to be after the same people and he just wanted Peter out of the way.

I think I'm a little over superhero movies, I'm not even excited for doomsday. I'll probably watch them eventually but they're becoming a "wait until streaming" watch rather than a cinema watch.
