D&D 3.x Title fonts for 3e books?

Desdichado

Legend
I'm looking at the spines of my 3e books, and wondering if anyone knows what font, or at least a similar font is to the one that's used on the outer covers of the books from this era? Here's a quick screencap of one example. I know, I know, this isn't the outer title, it's a couple of pages in, but this is still the font I'm looking for.

There is this thread from 2009 asking the same thing. There is a link there but not the specific example you want. There is some more clicks and Googles to do, but start here.

I've done the clicks and googles already, and come up empty on this particular font. I even think that I have a font like this on my computer... but I have hundreds if not thousands of fonts, so I have no idea which one it is, lol. That's why I was asking for help. I've even done the font identifier sites. Maybe it just doesn't exist. I'm surprised, though, that if it doesn't someone wouldn't have made a copycat pseudo-version years ago when 3e was current.

Found fonts called Mael, PR Uncial and St. Charles that look like they may be similar enough, though...

Looks to me like someone "hand" (probably computer) drew that logo. I agree that it would be surprising if no one ever tried to turn it into a font, but I don't think it started out as one.

It’s a custom font.

Morpheus is similar-ish but not as swishy with the lower flourishes.
I was really excited until I actually looked at Morpheus. The swishy bits on the R are indeed similar, for sure, but that's about it. Morpheus is very angular (and serifed) while the title font above is very round and reminiscent of celtic calligraphy (the D especially). A good celtic font converted to curves and messed about with in vector might produce something similar (perhaps, with many the faffings).

76pt Press Jobs with a 10pt black outline gets sort of close

I think the L's could be tugged into shape.

One more option is Unzialish, which after some messing about looks like this

Not at all perfect, but not bad for 15 minutes of font searching and affinity faffing. I had to separate out the L and V and push things around to get even that close, and the V is still unsightly, but I think there's some possibilities there.
