Not only that, but The Hand wears red and so do those ninjas in the poster.Maybe I am forgetting my Marvel lore here but who would a bunch of ninjas be other than The Hand? And if it is The Hand, Charlie Cox has to be lying through his teeth, right?
Eh, Spider-Man historically shares a lot of enemies with Daredevil. Kingpin, for instance, is often thought of as a purely Daredevil villain, but Spidey has a long, long history with him.Maybe I am forgetting my Marvel lore here but who would a bunch of ninjas be other than The Hand? I would much rather have this movie be about guys like the Enforcers (the only Spidey villains apparently not in the movie), the Scorpion, etc.Personally I’m not that enthused about the Hand being in this. I enjoyed S2 the least of the original Daredevil run on Netflix.
I normally like Scott Glenn, but I just didn’t enjoy all the mysticism and “eternal conflict” and unkillable ninja stuff. It didn’t really fit the “street level” vibe the rest of the show was going for, I felt, and I think the same is true of Spidey, even if the MCU version has been involved in some pretty big, way higher than street level stuff so far.
I hope the unkillable ninjas are a relatively small b plot in this movie.
Yep classic Spiderman 3 concern. We don't need 10 plots and 5 villains.More than just the ninjas, though, I'm mostly worried this movie is very overstuffed, unless most of the bad guys we've seen are just in it for a scene or two, showing us Spidey as a street level hero. If we have to engage with this a good portion of this giant cast, it's going to make for a very crowded movie.
