D&D General 'Zombie Clot' is the first free 'play-along pack' from new Dungeon Masters show

Features a fight with a bunch of zombies in a small village, and stats for the Swarm of Zombie Limbs and the Zombie Clot.
The new official Actual Play show, Dungeon Masters, launched this week, starring Jasmine Bhullar as the Dungeon Master along with players Mayanna Berrin, Christian Navarro, Neil Newbon and Devora Wilde.

Alongside the show, WotC is releasing Play-Along Packs, which are standalone encounters which help you bring things from the show into your home game. Each includes a quickplay map for virtual tabletops, along with early access to a monster from Ravenloft: The Horrors Within, which releases in June.

The first Play-Along Pack is called Zombie Clot, and you can access it here. It features a fight with a bunch of zombies in a small village, and stats for the Swarm of Zombie Limbs and the Zombie Clot--"When a throng of zombies becomes inextricably tangled or multiple swarms of zombie limbs coalesce, the result is a zombie clot—a putrid mass of rotten flesh with a singular will."

Next week's is called Gremishkas. "In the region through which the characters travel, being out after nightfall is a deadly endeavor. The characters have found refuge in an isolated windmill, but a dangerous pack of Gremishkas have caught their scent." You cannot access that one yet.

In the village of Hroth, a grieving doctor’s desperate choice has unleashed undead horrors upon the townsfolk.

The first campaign of the Dungeon Masters series is called Ashes of the Black Rose. You can also stream the show's official soundtrack on various platforms.

A doomed land is being unmade. Its would-be saviors may not make it out.

When a fractured band of unlikely allies finds itself trapped in a nightmare ruled by the infamous fallen paladin, Lord Soth, our heroes must do whatever it takes to break free.

What begins as a desperate search for a way home soon becomes an apocalyptic struggle, as Soth's fury threatens to consume everything and everyone within his crumbling Domain of Dread.

As the world falls apart around them, the question is not whether they can escape, but what they'll be forced to sacrifice to survive.

Great show. Disappointed in that encounter, which describes features on the map that aren't indicated. The map contains 2 arrows pointing to .... something not visible or described? And the scale of the grid feels way off... either that or these houses are 10 feet wide?

And the map is a dim purple-on-purple monochrome ink drawing. Hard to look at and parse at a glance. But hey, it is free.

Turns out to be a repurpose of the Greenfast DM-facing town map from Candlekeep Mysteries. A map that wasn't that scale, and wasn't an encounter map. No wonder it doesn't match up at all with the written encounter, it wasn't made for it in the first place.
