    Planescape Planescape monsters

Nice, Boz. :) A few comments... Yep, the gacholoth was in Monstrouc Compendium Annual 4, not PS. The darkweaver and the sunfly conversions do indeed appear to be the same creatures. The shocker in RttToEE was the sojourner variety; the contented ones remain unconverted. Razorvine is in FF...

Converting monsters from First Edition modules

No prob. I can't say for sure, since I've never seen H2... I'm only going by the name.

Converting monsters from First Edition modules

Is the steeder from H2 the duergar spider? If so, it's already in 'Races of Faerun'. Btw, it's nice to see some new conversions from you, in this thread and the other... always excellent quality. :)

The Book of Exalted Deeds - It's Here! (merged - full ToC posted)

Mm... that's right. Must have been 'Warriors of Heaven', then. Thanks. :)

The Book of Exalted Deeds - It's Here! (merged - full ToC posted)

I believe I can be of some help here. :) Named in 2E 'Planes of Conflict' and 3E 'Manual of the Planes', the original Companions of Talisid were: Prince Talisid of the Leonals Duchess Callisto of the Ursinals Lord Hwyn of the Equinals Duke Lucan of the Lupinals Lord Rhanok of the Cervidals Duke...

    Malenti

    No need to apologize :D

    Horned Devil/Cornugon/Malebranche

Nice job catching all of those mistakes. ;) Just one thing, ankylosaurus and anchisaurus are different dinosaurs (used to be a big dino buff). :)

    Malenti

Mm, I don't believe it is... the 3E MM just lumps the four-armed sahuagin and the malenti together as 'sahuagin mutants', but doesn't make them out to be the same thing.

    My pleasure. :)

    Horned Devil/Cornugon/Malebranche

Yes, it's just a coincidence. There's no connection between the cornugon and the 3E malebranche beyond the history of the name.

What Are All the Elementals and Paraelementals?

Indeedy. Silvanus, Oghma (both Celtic), Mielikki, Loviatar, the dead goddess Kiputytto (all Finnish), Tyr (Norse), and the entire pantheons of Mulhorand, Unther, and Shou Lung (Egyptian, Babylonian, and Chinese, respectively) in the Realms; the Oltec pantheon on Oerth (Aztec), and the Northern...

What Are All the Elementals and Paraelementals?

Well, having everything spelled out for you is pretty much the idea of a campaign setting. Some DMs are less creative than others, and having a world made up for you can be pretty helpful. Planescape wasn't necessarily a definitive guide to the Outer Planes for every DM, but more of a...

    DRAGON Magazine monster index!

Aaaand here's a few more I found, from some early issues... No. 1: Bulette (Creature Features, no author listed, later appeared in 1E MM, 2E MM, 3E MM) No. 2: Remorhaz (Creature Features, no author listed, later appeared in 1E MM, 2E MM, 3E MM) No. 5: Ankheg (Featured Creature, no author...

    Yoshi stats

Well, I'd say Yoshi's type depends on your source. SMW Yoshi was much more dinosauroid in form, while 'Yoshi's Island' Yoshi was more anthropomorphic.

What Are All the Elementals and Paraelementals?

Glad to have been of service. :) Mimir.net's a great site for original Planescape material... too bad it hasn't been updated in more than two years. Btw, Krishnath, ust go to the root page, the dragon thing should be there.
