    Low Level items

I'm not sure about Armor Shards (unless you mean Armor Crystals, from the Magic Item Compendium), but Skill Shards are from the Expanded Psionics Handbook, page 176.

Feat similar to Practiced Spellcaster, but for BAB?

Practiced Spellcaster (page 82 in both Complete Divine and Complete Arcane) boosts your caster level by +4, but not beyond your hit dice. My question: Is there a feat that can boost the base attack bonus (BAB) in a similar way?

Actually, it's 1,800gp, but that's neither here nor there. Both the version in the DMG (the Quiver of Ehlonna, page 205) and the Efficient Quiver in the SRD both have this ability.

    Red Dawn

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm going to, 'cause one of my friends (a gamer, even) is in it, albiet in an uncredited role. It's not her first public movie (that was Machine Gun Preacher, I think), but it's the first time I heard about it when it was still in theaters. Red Dawn is one of my...

    Player not using sheets.

If doing it for him isn't possible, tell the DM this. Try to get the other players to do the same. The game is supposed to be fun for everyone - that's part of the DM's role - and this is entirely reasonable. You can also try to use peer pressure, but that can backfire too.

Yes. That's what a Handy Haversack IS. A backpack. Specifically, a backpack that always weighs five pounds no matter how much you put into it (up to its weight/volume limit). That's why I said it's good for making you not have to worry about encumbrance. It's especially good for...

    Low Level items

Everything else that a character carries. Food, yes. Rope, unlit torches, writing supplies. You can even put a couple of extra weapons in there. You can fit a LOT of stuff into twelve cubic feet/120 pounds of space.

    Low Level items

Well, one of my go-to items for practically all low-level campaigns is the Handy Haversack (D&D) (Pathfinder). Mostly because it means less keeping track of encumbrance and the like. Also, it's ability to retrieve any item with a move action that doesn't trigger an attack of opportunity is nice.

Pathfinder 1E What's broken or needs vast system knowledge?

Boost the DC. A quote from the Pathfinder SRD, emphasis mine: --- You can use this skill to identify monsters and their special powers or vulnerabilities. In general, the DC of such a check equals 10 + the monster’s CR. For common monsters, such as goblins, the DC of this check equals 5 + the...

Pathfinder 1E What's broken or needs vast system knowledge?

I think they already accounted for that. The lame Oracle/Barbarian with only one Oracle level would actually have to have eight levels of Barbarian (i.e. be a 9th level character) to gain immunity to fatigue (not exhaustion - that's at 15th level). An oracle’s curse is based on her oracle...

    Yet another Poll

I like both editions (and am, in fact, playing games in both games). There are things I enjoy more in 3.5e (like the multitude of options and worlds), and things I like in Pathfinder (I'm a big fan of the changes they made in skills... though I would like it if I could use 3.5e's skill synergy...

    Raising a Succubus

Profane Gift is part of the Pathfinder version of the Succubus: Profane Gift (Su) Once per day as a full-round action, a succubus may grant a profane gift to a willing humanoid creature by touching it for 1 full round. The target gains a +2 profane bonus to an ability score of his choice. A...
