    Star Wars: New Jedi Order

I've pretty much settled on getting all the books and starting over from the begining. Through the SciFi Book Club I can get everything from Vector Prime through the Force Heretic series for a total of $115. They will all be hard cover books, which is something I always like and things like...

[HIVEMIND] Disorderly, but not nessasarily drunk!

Well I run two of them. Both are run online over IRC. The one I run today is a modern game. The characters are a sorcerer, a half-demon with visions, a Slayer, a Slayer-in-Training, a Half-Vampire and an Empath. It's set in the city near me, Albany, NY. Here are log files for it if anyone...

[HIVEMIND] Disorderly, but not nessasarily drunk!

Personally I'm about 10 minutes from leaving work, sleeping for about 4-5 hours and then running a Buffy: TVS game for another 4-6 hours and back to work. A usual Sunday for me. :)

    Illustrations

Wow. This is some of the most wonderful artwork I have ever seen. So amazingly delicate, but so amazingly real. Keep up the amazing work Tetsubo. A couple times you said you post these pictures on a newsgroup. I was curious which one? Also I am going to have to point my players over here...

    Star Wars: New Jedi Order

Quite likely, but if I start the book I'm going to have to finish it. Probably not a bad idea to start over anyways and refresh my memory. Looks like come next paycheck I will be spending like $115 on the SciFi Book Club. They had like 10-11 of them in hard cover (as all books are from them)...

    Star Trek Novels

I would have to say, in general, Peter David is just a very talented writer. My first exposure to him was his long run on the Hulk. Then I read some of his Star Trek novels. I have heard good things about the B5 novels he has written also and may pick them up.

    Star Wars: New Jedi Order

I have considered the option of trying to figure out where I have left off, but so far have not had much in the way of luck. Going to a book store is not an option as I do not have a chance to get out to them very often. I think the last time I managed to get to a book store and spend anytime...

I love Steampunk. I love Magitech. I love the two mixed. Think that sums up my feelings.

    Star Trek Novels

I will indeed check out those books. I pretty much enjoy all the Star Trek series. So any books set in any of the different series is ok with me. :) If I were to list my order of preference it would go something like this: TOS/Enterprise TNG DS9 Voyager Even with Voyager being my least...

    D&D Novels

I read the first few Spelljammer novels. The Cloakmaster series, if I recall correctly. I really enjoyed the first book in the series, but thought the next two went downhill. I stopped reading after I finished the third book. Sorry, but I can not remember any of the names of the books off...

    Star Wars: New Jedi Order

Personally what I remember enjoying about the NJO books was that this was a new turn for the setting. The New Republic was at war. Personally for me it was nice to see something different in the Star Wars universe rather than the same old Super Weapon of the Week. So far none of the prequal...

    Star Wars: New Jedi Order

I started reading the New Jedi Order books when they first came out and I loved the series. Thought it was quite interesting and well done. Despite loving the series I stopped reading for quite a while. Pretty much stopped reading novels period for almost a year and a half. Just recently...

    Star Trek Novels

When I rejoined the SciFi Book Club one of the books I ordered was Star Trek: The Orginial Series - The Janus Gate by LA GRAF. I really enjoyed reading this book and got the craving to read other Star Trek novels. It has been over two years since I have read any Star Trek novels (besides the...

    [July] What are you reading?

Well I finally finished the latest Harry Potter book earlier this week and am currently reading StarTrek: TOS - The Janus Gate by LA GRAF (Acronym for Let's All Get Rick and Famous, if I recall correctly). It's a fairly decent TOS book set just (and I mean just) after the events in the episode...

What's new this fall in sci-fi/fantasy style programing?

Well they just started the 7th season a few weeks ago on SciFi. The website that had seasons 1-5 listed probably is the on run by Showtime/MGM and covers what they were directly involved in. Stuff can be now found at: http://www.scifi.com/stargate/ Season 6,7 and 8 (when it happens)...

[X Men Evolution] New Episodes soon

In the last episode of season 3 that has aired the second lock was unlocked. THere is only one more lock keeping good ole Apocalypse from causing some trouble. Unfortunatly I will not see these episodes until they get around to showing them on Cartoon Network as I don't have a WB station.

[OT] I Have No Clue Where To Put This Thread...

Probably should have gone into Gamers seeking Gamers. There is not restriction that games posted there have to be D20 or anything. Just my opinion.

Teen Titans: Your thoughts and mine...

I finally got around to watching it this morning. For some reason this show just didn't work for me. It wasn't bad, but it was not great either. Not something I plan to go out of my way to watch. Whats odd is I love Anime and all of the odd conventions of, but for me they just did not work...
