You are wrong. A character's death is unfortunate, but it can be dramatic. It can be moving. It can enhance the game. Rape is simply crude and I will not sit around for, much less derive any enjoyment from, depictions of a character being raped. It is something completely different.

A few months back I saw a tiny red box of 2E Forgotten Realms books, I believe they were Elminster Ecologies. It was one of the more unique D&D items I've seen, and very unusual to find it on a store shelf locally. No doubt it was part of the same series.

I can't speak for any of the other people you're making this assumption about, but I actually prefer DiTerlizzi. It is perfectly possible to dislike Elmore's art without having a preference for illustration where someone is being punched in the face.

I don't know what monsters are in the adventure, but I'd like to see a sphinx.
