I felt that in general, the contributors of Tome of Horrors didn't understand the scope of the 3.5 conversion. Too many of them were reassignments of skills and feats when a serious overhaul of the creature was needed. AC and HP are too low in most cases.

I spotted it in Barnes & Noble, but that was a couple of months ago and it was in the periodicals. I kind of doubt it's still there, since B&N uses a service to handle their periodicals that precludes any kind of inventory. It may have just been misshelved, though. Couldn't hurt to look!

Boil some water and dip the mini in for a few seconds. The plastic will soften and enable you to make minor adjustments like straightening weapons, correcting warped bases, and making the occasional limbo champion stand upright. It doesn't adversely affect the mini at all.
