Then there’s folks like me who have the City of Greyhawk, Waterdeep, and the Isle of Dread all on the same world. I prefer to piecemeal things from the settings and adventures to create my own world. I appropriately call my setting Amalgam. So the canon doesn’t mean anything to my game.
